What's on Your Canvas?
This is how my day started - I try to find "an inspirational quote for the day" and today's was:
...and so la-dee-da I continued going about my day.
...then <<BAM!>> here comes the Universe with a lesson!
I received a phone call and all was well ...expect for this 'tiny' little comment made. Now I can start blaming a multitude of things; point the finger; blame my hormones; blah-blah-blah...
But all in all - everything pointed me back to "my" today's message:
My experience is to "let go" of what others think.
I AM painting a life of "Love" and "No-Judgement" - for me.
My canvas is the result of my here-and-now.
My thoughts are my brush strokes and
My choices are what gets put on (in) to my "experience".
*IF* I choose to mess-up my canvas; I'll then need to "think" of ways to make it better.
*IF* I choose to add stuff to it; I also need to realize that it'll impact all future outcomes.
...my painting (my canvas) is indeed *MY* life.
Ultimately in the end, the results are... just that - *MY* results, any no one elses.
I am the one that has to live with what's been put on the canvas!
The Universe's message to me today was presented to me today for a reason.
...and since there is a REASON for everything - this particular message today;
just had me realize (be reminded) that I need to "let go" and allow things to happen freely.
Again, *For Me* it's always about trying to control situations / outcomes; this is what *my* "letting go" and "allow things to happen" pieces is all about.
Message to myself: Stop it. You can't have the Universe work through you if you are trying to control everything. Take a breather, relax and reconnect - without this self-actualization you're just becoming part of the problem. Disconnect from this 'negativity' and reconnect with Source.
Again,
This is what I love about ART!
Art allows the 'inside' to be expressed 'outside'.
No matter if it's though Painting; Sketching; Photography; Singing; Writing; Collecting; ...doing whatever it is that allows you to get 'lost' in your world, your passion - this is ART!

The Delusional-Genetic Programming: Are you a Blind Sheep?
I can't even recall how many times my dad would tell me: "Get with the Program!"
or something like, "It's all part of the Program!"
What we 'accept' as programming becomes our realities.
In the below video Part 2 of 9, Bruce Lipton speaks with Joe Rogan about consciousness and the effects it may have on the reality we perceive.
At about the 6:17 mark, Bruce Lipton dives in to the "programming" concept:
Programming References / Quotes:
"Give me a Child until he is 6 or 7 and he will belong to the Church for the rest of their lives." Jesuit People
I also read the book Bruce Lipton references, Rich Dad, Poor Dad:
“If you realize that you're the problem, then you can change yourself, learn something and grow wiser. Don't blame other people for your problems.”
― Robert T. Kiyosaki, Rich Dad, Poor Dad

What are your thoughts in watching these clips, did you gain any ah-ha moments yourself?
------------------------------------------------------------------
Shortly after sharing the above post, I received a comment outside this post saying something along the line of:
Rick Warren is a "Christians are better than Muslims" , supporter of chic fil a's antigay hate mongering "traditionnal families" supporter. I dont think he's in any position to be listened to...but thats just my opinion.
Here is my feedback:
Thank you for questioning and commenting; I always love feedback and discussing various viewpoints! Yes there are various posts online claiming to having Rick Warren declare a bunch of stuff, whether they're true or not are none of my concerns.
What concerns me, what occupies my inner-connections, what speaks to me are the "ah-ha" moments I receive when listening to various people share their messages.
My grandmother shared with us some pretty amazing things and one of them was to always receive the message that is given to you when its the truth. You know its the truth when it speaks to you (your soul). You 'feel' the message. Everything else isn't for you and/or isn't really "your truth" for that moment.
Also when messages are being given these "messages" originate from somewhere... deep from within "you". Sometimes what comes out of our mouth is inspired from a place of greatness, we just feel those moments and allow them to consume us - those are moments of truth. You've accepted to being a vessel and allow whatever message that is felt, come out to be share with those around you. Other times when things randomly come out of our mouth where we end-up with that "taste awful"; these messages, too, come from a place deep-down within. These not-so-nice thoughts or things said are unresolved emotions: resentment, jealousy, judgement, whatever...Once we notice what we've said, that's when we get our 'ah-ha' moments, ourselves. (Sometimes we need to say them out loud so that we can realize that: 'wow did I just say that? Why would I think that way...?)
Everything we think, hear, and say are simply words - we put emotions and judgement on them based on how we 'decipher' (aka judge) the information. What we 'believe' to be wrong might not be to someone else, just as what we might 'believe' to be complete none-sense may turn out to be the next big thing!
Our life journey is a series of judgement calls (choices).
So going back to this Pastor's message... I got inspired by some of his messaging. And so will I reject what he said in-this-moment because of something that has past? If this message speaks to me, why shouldn't I choose to accept it and... move on?
Another story: I read a wonderful book called: "Excuse me your life is waiting" (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/69947.Excuse_Me_Your_Life_Is_Waiting) I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I LOVED it so much I've read it twice (so far).
Great message about life, about manifesting what you want, about changing your thoughts and changing your life.
After my first read of the book, I did a search online wanting to find out if she did conferences or even had other books or materials I could look into... blah-blah-blah long story short, she fell sick and I read online that she committed suicide (some say it was assisted). Whatever the case maybe - I was shocked! How could someone with such a great message and inspire so many, choose this path? Could I continue believe her 'story' or 'message'? I was thrown back for sometime...
This is when I picked-up the book again a few months later, and after reading it a second time - I just knew that the message it brings into the world is just that, "a message".
Messages of "truth" are meant for: the people, the world, the person in front of you, for yourself - these messages aren't necessarily from you, but for you. Sometimes we don't know we REALLY can do something unless we actually try to do it - that's when we find out that, "wow, I really can do this?!".
The same is said of messages - sometimes we don't know what lies deep-within us unless we allow it to come out, the good with the bad. These discoveries are where/how we uncover ourselves, and thus are presented with choices, self-questioning:
- Do I keep this belief?
- Where did I get that from? Do I really, truly believe that?
- Maybe this belief worked for me before, but does it work in my life now?
- Am I holding on to this belief for comfort? ...because of someone? ...why is this important to me?
- Why do I think that way, and could I maybe be missing out on a different viewpoint?
- Am I really allowing myself to see all angles or am I being narrow-minded; and why? What's stopping me from opening up? Am I afraid of something... and if I am, what is it?
The process of continued questioning is a great way to self-discovery.
When I hear (listen) to messages being shared 'not' everything gets registered in my mind - and if something strikes a cord with me, it doesn't necessarily mean it'll have the same impact on you. And even if we react to the same message, will its impact truly have the 'same meaning' for the both of us? Probably not, it could be similar - but it probably won't be 100% the-same.
Alright - I digress again... The pastor's message in this part of his life, on this day while he was with Oprah, living this "Lifeclass" ...this moment, I believe was a moment of truth. What happened before and what happens after, is outside this moment, is outside this message.
On that note, I thank you again for your feedback! Your comment obviously struck a cord with me and unleashed a "message". Thank you.
So now, I ask again -

The Answer Is You - Michael Benard Beckwith (HayHouseRadio)
I was fortunate to catch this “radio-show” over lunch
yesterday – it’s about an hour long.
Here are a few highlights I took-in as notes:
…You no longer look into
getting something from the world because you already have everything within
you, as this living information.
That is of course activated
by the conditions that you create – through your intensions, spiritual
practice, through your moods, projections of best-case scenarios, …all of this
creates the right conditions that activate the filament of light within you…
He, Michael Bernard Beckwith, then goes on to talk about how the Universe resides
within, how God is within –
And then provides a little “Star Trek” story / analogy about
how one of their missions had the enterprise “defending itself against an
energy”.
The more the Star-Ship-Enterprise put up its defense, the
more this ‘energy’ matched it and then would ‘up’ its force.
It was at this point, “They Got it” – they just needed to
stop fighting it and just allow it to pass through.
And so for us… as we keep
protecting ourselves and putting up our “shields” against worst-case-scenarios;
the things we don’t want to happen; we keep defending ourselves against the
issues in our mind; unresolved issues in our emotions; …etc
the Universe then gives us
what we’re defending ourselves against.
That’s not the Universal-Plus
factor, that’s just the Universal-Laws matching the vibration you keep putting
out.
The host then goes on to provides a description of the
“Universal-Plus Factor”.
What it is and how to “live it”.
His speech is done about 10 mins in, that’s when he starts
taking in “calls” and helps guide people.

What's Your Angel Message?
Do you believe angels have "messages"
for us? Well according to Doreen Virtue Facebook Official Fan Page,
"You have guardian angels with you right now — continuously — guaranteed! Your angels guide you through your thoughts, feelings, words, and visions. They also show you signs—that is, things that you see repeatedly with your physical eyes. One of their favorite signs relates to number sequences. These are numerals that you repeatedly see on license plates, phone numbers, clocks, and so on. "

Below is a sampling of some number sequences your angels may show to you. Ask for clarification if the numbers’ message is unclear by saying to them silently or aloud, “Please clearly explain so I’ll easily understand.” As with any divination tool, defer to your own inner wisdom as the ultimate authority. In other words, if in doubt, then trust your gut.
Here are just a few of my "number" messages:Three-digit Numbers
111 – Monitor your thoughts carefully, and be sure to only think about what you want, not what you don’t want. The sequence is a sign that there is a gate of opportunity opening up, and your thoughts are manifesting into form at record speeds. The 111 is like the bright light of a flash bulb. It means that the universe has just taken a snapshot of your thoughts and is manifesting them into form. Are you pleased with what thoughts the universe has captured? If not, correct your thoughts…ask your angels to help you with this if you have difficulty controlling or monitoring your thoughts.
123 — Simplify your life. Get rid of anything that’s pulling at your energy, time, or finances—especially anything that pulls you away from your life purpose. The ascended masters are helping you with this simplification.
222 — Have faith. Everything’s going to be all right. Don’t worry about anything, as this situation is resolving itself beautifully for everyone involved.
333 — The Ascended Masters are near you, desiring you to know that you have their help, love and companionship. Call upon the Ascended Masters often, especially when you see the number 3 patterns around you. Some of the more famous Ascended Masters include: Jesus, Moses, Mary, Quan Yin and Yogananda.
444 — Thousands of angels surround you at this moment, loving and supporting you. You have a very strong and clear connection with the angelic realm, and are an Earth angel yourself. You have nothing to fear—all is well.
555 — Buckle your seatbelts. A major life change is upon you. This change should not be viewed as being “positive” or “negative” since all change is but a natural part of life’s flow. Perhaps this change is an answer to your prayers, so continuing seeing and feeling yourself to be at peace.
666 — Your thoughts are out of balance right now, focused too much on the material world. This number sequence asks you to balance your thoughts between Heaven and Earth. Like the famous, “Sermon on the Mount” the angels ask you to focus on spirit and service, and know your material and emotional needs will be met as a result.
777 — The angels applaud you… “congratulations, you’re on a roll! Keep up the good work and know your wish is coming true.” This is an extremely positive sign and you should also expect more miracles to occur.
888 — A phase of your life is about to end, and this is a sign to give you forewarning to prepare. This number sequence may mean you are winding up an emotional career or relationship phase. It also means there is light at the end of the tunnel. In addition it means, The crops are ripe. Don’t wait to pick and enjoy them. In other words, don’t procrastinate in making your move or enjoying the fruits of your labor.
875 — The changes you’re making have put you on the right path for manifesting abundance in all ways.
999 — Get to work, Lightworker! The world needs your Divine life purpose right now. Fully embark upon your sacred mission without delay or hesitation.
000 — A reminder you are one with God, and to feel the presence of your Creator’s love within you. Also it is a sign that a situation has gone full circle.

Long Island Medium - Theresa Caputo
I’m sharing this to all you beautiful readers since we all
seem to love stories...
A girlfriend of mine and I had been talking at one point and she mention
that I should check out: Long Island Medium
The below is my recent update regarding this scenario…
----------------------------------
This past Monday evening when I was sitting at home, it
popped in my head: “Oh ya, I’m supposed to check for that show…”
So I did a search via my local cable and “Bam!” sure-shit it was
just starting… it was 6:05pm on Monday and the show had just started at 6pm.
And to boot, it was the exact show my girlfriend had been talking to me
about; where her (Theresa Caputo) kids had her try a recorder vs a cassette tape.
But the great thing is that without even paying attention, I
was already aware of who Theresa Caputo was since I “Liked” her page on FB:
I just hadn’t seen her show, and didn’t know what it was
called.
I love how when you “just flow” with it – life keeps
bringing you waves to move you along.
How Peace, Love & Misunderstanding can Bring on Understanding
Here are more of my thoughts and review with regards to the movie: Peace, Love & Misunderstanding (2011)
My first blogpost regarding this movie can be accessed here:
http://tammymathieu.blogspot.ca/2013/01/choosing-to-judge-is-my-problem.html
This is a more in-dept follow-up.
My first blogpost regarding this movie can be accessed here:
http://tammymathieu.blogspot.ca/2013/01/choosing-to-judge-is-my-problem.html
This is a more in-dept follow-up.
I connected with the mother, in
a sense – but for me it was the resentment piece.
She resented her mother for
being who she was, carefree.
She didn’t want to understand
her mother’s way (the grandmother’s way);
And so blocked her out.
…and then at the end when she
goes to bail her out, and her mother explains (something like):
“Now that you have children and
know that love, how would you feel if one of them rejected you for 20 years?”
Ah-man that hit me in the gut.
We create our own judgements and
“interpretations” as to what’s ‘right (for us)’ – and then build our lives on
this “belief”.
What really happens – is all in
our heads – we ‘think’ everyone else should see and think the same way, and if
they don’t; then there’s something wrong with “them”.
The whole movie’s “message” (for
me) was about Judgement.
The daughter judging her mother,
and the mother judging her mother (the grandmother);
And the daughter judging the
butcher / boyfriend.
The husband judging the wife (at
the end when he states something like, I didn’t know you all had “that” kind
of fun).
And then the fun part of the
“message” was about “letting go”, that’s the [Peace, Love and
Misunderstandings].
We create judgement upon
ourselves by not “letting go”; we’re blocking our own truths.
Sure in the movie they included
drinking and drugs – and the whole “Hippy” lifestyle – but I think that “stuff”
was just marketing for Hollywood sales.
It just make things easier to
understand “quickly”, since the “Hippy” lifestyle is already a stereotype most
people know about.
Had they marketed the movie about
a Grandmother living a spiritual new-age lifestyle, would it have had the same
effect (and sales)??
Maybe some people really do live
that way, and maybe they don’t – again we’re not to judge, we’re just to choose
to love & understand. …we don’t need to do the same – we just need to “get
over our-self-made beliefs” and Let Go (of everything outside of us).
The carefree piece was a sight
of beauty (for me). Maybe at times, for the movie’s sake – it went overboard
(sex, drugs and …well extras!)
But the foundation for that
Grandmother was there – this was HER story, HER choices.
How many of us can claim to live
our choices, freely… really?
We don’t. And why? Because of
exactly this – we judged her choices and made them wrong.
And why…? She’s not us… and so
this IS the piece we need to Let Go.
This “meaning” is similar to
what the boy says at the end about judgement (having someone want to change
someone else): “that’s your problem” …and not hers. The Grandmother found her
“peace” and is choosing to live it. She understood what her daughter was going
through and knew she had some “releasing” to do, but ultimately she pretty much
just let her do her own thing and just “welcomed” her back into her life with Love.
How many of us could do this,
just welcome “lost” ones back into our lives with open arms – after the hurt
and abandonment? And to choose not to judge “them”…
There were several underlining
messages and I’m sure they spoke differently to each of us, and I’m sure the
“messages” get received very differently at different times in our lives.
I enjoyed it overall, and am
looking forward to hosting Feminine Full Moon Evenings! ;)
