Week 9 - Weight Watchers

Well it's been a few weeks since my last updated post.

Here are my stats:

Week 6: -1.6
Week 7: -0.6
Week 8: -2.2
Week 9: -4.4

I've officially lost -16.8 lbs. to date.
I've really surprised myself these last two weeks!!!

Now that I've created this blog - hopefully I'll be blogging more often.
I hope to add all of my point tips and counts soon too.

Oh ya, I'm 5 lbs away from my 10% weight lost goal to becoming a "Lifetime Member" of Weight Watchers!! I have to loose this 5 lbs prior to the next 3 weeks.

Ok it's late - until next time.

Week 5 - Weight Watchers

Well its been 2 weeks since I last wrote.
Week 4 - I lost 1.2lbs.
Week 5 - I lost 1.6lbs.

So my total as of yesterday is 8lbs. lost.

~ Not too bad ~
Last weekend I was at our annual PJ Party and I think I managed ok.
It was hard cause my aunt Paulette is like the best cook in the world!
She had made her famous (best in the world) spagetti sauce and home made buns!... I had to skip out on the whole thing.
Then there were a bunch of sweets ~ I had to pass-up on too!

I came prepared though! I had bought some tostitos chips and salsa - and had made arrangements to be the DD for the evening.

So now this weekend ~ Halloween Dance tomorrow! Yikes!
I know that I'm going to be having too much fun at this one... so I'll have to pace out my day!!
Hum... sleep-in means I skip breakfast... then have a small lunch and medium supper... this means I could enjoy a few drinks!
But with an empty stomach I'll only need a few drinks.... LOL
No no I'm going to have a resonable meal Saturday - otherwise I'll just eat anything once I start drinking....

But until next time - If you have any ideas for Healthy Food preparations, I'm open for suggestions!
Veggies are starting to taste very blah!
...need suggestions! Got a suggestion today from someone to cook chicken and veggies with Miss Dash.
Also someone told me that some stores sell salad spices?! Sounds good to me - I'll be giving those suggestions a try-out!

Week 2 - Weight Watchers

Well here goes.... 2.2lbs! That's how much I lost my first week.
Good / Bad - I'm not sure... I'm pretty comfortable with that number - I mean its only been 1 week.

I am learning lots - my favorite Valley Nature granola bars are high in points!
... had to let these go!... for now.

Big tester - This weekend: Thanksgiving!

We'll just have to see how that turns out!

Week 3 - Weight Watchers

Well its now week three. As of last Thursday I officially lost 5lbs.!
...The first two weeks we the easiest for me - and they even included Thanksgiving.

This past weekend - I found the hardest. Maybe I was just doing too much and/or just wasn't in the mood.
We celebrated Martin's birthday on Saturday which wasn't too bad until night time hit -
I was then tired and had bought too many munchies and... had the munchies so I munched.
Sunday was just a horrible day for me - I owned the title Queen-B*tch!
It didn't matter was excuses you had - I was just tired of hearing them!
Thank goodness we hadn't moved Martin's birthday to Sunday - cause I don't think anyone would have stayed!

Now I'm trying to get back on track... I have to exercise and go back to my proper eating habits. Grrr.... and be happy about it too!
Hoping this week will get better!... and/or at least get easier!

Week 1 - Weight Watchers

Well it's official I am now a member of Weight Watchers. I joined the group on Sept 27th, 2007.
My first weight-in was ... Ha! Just not quite ready to expose that one yet!!

For those of you who know me well - know I like to cook (and let's Dave cook) -
so I'm not afraid of food - we like it, alot.

My main goal is to understand portion sizes and food values.
I do want to loose some weight however I'm not obsessing over it.

Day 1 - Thursday I was already using my "bonus" points... like 15 of them.

Day 2 - I did good - kept myself within my point range ... I was even able to go out for lunch at Subway!
...and had a 6" Whole Wheat Roasted Chicken sub.

Day 3 - Saturday... I did alot of cleaning on Saturday and this was the day our Hockey Season started.
Did good - but man oh man I craved alot of coffee!!

Day 4 - Sunday - again with the coffee! I didn't even have one since I was too busy but I just craved it.
I have my coffee with 2 milks and 2 sugars - not to high in points but just enough to stop and ask yourself: Do I really need it right now?
By the end of the day I actually craved chocolate ~ had a small lunch size chocolate pudding.

Today is Day 5... Yesterday I prepared myself some items to eat for this week.
The 0 point soup and the baby spinach leaves salad. Had that for lunch - did get a coffee this morning during break but had a large 2 milks and 1 sugar. Going to try that out for a bit and then try to cut back on the milk. Small steps...

I do have a good support group right now - a co-worker past me her " Canadian Dining Out Companion" Weight Watchers booklet to view restaurant points - and that's very helpful. My two sisters are also going through similar programs: 1 has joined Weight Watchers and the other has joined Herbal Magic.

So I'm going to try and keep on blogging to keep you all current - if I miss anything and/or you want to hear more - let me know.
Otherwise it's all good - talking to myself is always good!

Until next time - Cheers!
